Museum Island
If you like culture this is the most perfect place for you!! The museums are all stunning - the Altes museum is very beautiful, sadly the first floor with the Roman artefacts wasn't open but the Greek section on the ground floor was beautiful. The gift shop is small and cute. The toilets are a bit dirty and run down though. The Neues museum is absolutely amazing - the rooms are so beautiful and the bust of Nefertiti is breathtaking. It has an incredible selection of Egyptian artefacts. Our tickets for the whole museum island were 12€ (student) and 24€ (non student). The gardens at the gallery are also very beautiful. The entire island is a really nice place to spend time at and it is beautiful overall!
