Built in the 12th century in Segovia, Spain, the Ancient Spanish Monastery is one of the oldest structures in the Western World. In the 20th century, U.S. magnate William Randolph Hearst bought and shipped it in over 11,000 crates to the States. When he went bankrupt, two Ohio businessmen bought the crates and rebuilt the monastery in Miami. Today, it houses the Church of St. Bernard of Clairvaux, part of the Episcopal Diocese of South Florida, and is a popular venue for weddings and photoshoots thanks to its historic and Instagram-worthy halls.
