Though its days of operation are over, the reservoir's impressive 7.5-meter depth and the sprawling 18-kilometer Águas Livres Aqueduct offer a glimpse into Lisbon's past water management challenges. Ascend to the rooftop terrace for sweeping views of Lisbon's skyline, and marvel at the magnitude of the aqueduct standing beside the reservoir.
