Miradouro do Cortado
Miradouro da Portela is the big-shot viewpoint for the Penha de Aguia mountain, and it's pretty darn stunning. No doubt. But, real talk, I'm vibing more with the view from the flip side – Miradouro do Cortado. Why? 'Cause you get this dope sight of Faial and its promontory, plus a clear shot all the way to Ponta de Sao Lourenço – the tail end of Madeira. Rolling up? Easy peasy – there's a couple of parking spots right in the road bend. Only hitch – gotta have a car to make the magic happen. Enjoy the views, my friend!
