While most folks hit up Porto Moniz for its cool natural pools on day trips, they often miss out on the hidden gems. One of those gems is the Achadas da Cruz cable car – they say it's the steepest in Europe! Riding this bad boy down the cliffs is seriously mind-blowing. It's 451m high over 600m, with a crazy 98% slope at the start. Just a 20-min drive from Porto Moniz on the west coast of Madeira, you'll find it. No need for a fancy ride – a regular car will do. Practical stuff: The cable car runs from 8 am to 11:30 am and kicks back in from 12:30 pm to 7 pm every day. It costs 3€ for a round trip, takes just 5 minutes, and there's a cool café and toilets up top. Don't miss out!

Now it cost 5€. The cable car is nice anar the vides are really good. But once you are at the bottom there is not much to do, theirs is no beach ( only big rocks ones).
